Groups for Young People

Sunday Club
Children of all ages are very welcome to be part of Sunday Club. We meet on Sunday morning in the hall before the 10.30am service (except the first Sunday of the month which is an All Age Service). After some games, songs, and a time of sharing, we split into different age groups and go to different areas for the rest of the session.

We usually have lots of fun learning about God in a variety of ways, for example through Bible and other stories, discussion, drama, craft, cooking, games and prayer.

We also have different events throughour the year including outings, children's services, craft, flower and fun workshops, a holiday club, parties and discos, quiz challenges etc.
Sunday Club join the main congregation in church at communion.

There are four groups within Sunday Club which are:
Crèche for babies and Rainbows for older children under 6 years old who stay together in the main hall.
Trailblazers for children from 6 to 11 years old which takes places in the Upper Room.
Lazers for 11 to 14 years old in the Pastoral Room.

FOG is a group for young people aged 14 years and over and meets at 7.00pm every Sunday evening, in term time in the Upper Rooms for games, discussion and sharing. Speak to Roben Mills for more details.

All age services
Once a month our service is much less formal and aimed at all ages, children and adults alike. During this service toys are available in the main hall for children to play with, under parental supervision.

Other Childrens Groups that meet during the week
Playgroup meets every morning for children aged 2 to 4 years. A pre-school session is also held to cater for older children.
Brownies and Guides for girls who want to have fun and work together to achieve their fullest potential as responsible citizens..... and to get sticky, messy, arty, sporty, creative and generally have a great time. Brownies (7-10 years) and Guides (10-14 years) meet on Monday and Friday evenings.
